Ежегодная конференция разработчиков видеоигр Game Developers Conference — традиционное место вручения престижных наград GDC Awards. Игры, которые в этом году претендуют на премии, уже названы.
Особых сенсаций не наблюдается: по количеству номинаций рекордсменами стали Red Dead Redemption 2, Marvel’s Spider-Man и God of War. Да и инди-проекты, попавшие во «взрослые» категории, всё те же: нашумевшие Return of the Obra Dinn и Celeste. Новое лишь то, что в этот раз организаторы расширили списки лучших игр, добавив перечень тех, что не попали в номинацию, но достойны упоминания.
Церемония вручения наград GDC Awards состоится 20 марта.
